Close to buying a new 07 310 Sundancer: comments, feedback, maint.?s, etc.

Thank you very much. Now I just need to think of a name. Yes, the bed is angled, but there is quite enough room for my wife and I to sleep. I am 6'1" and am quite comfortable in it. yes, I will probably have to have my wife climb over me if she gets up, but for us that is very minor. The 320 is great boat, but was too far out of our price range and the deal we got on our 310 was too good to pass up.

My 87 300 Sundancer has the angled berth up front too and I found it to be a bit of a PIA for my wife and I. It seemed like the person on the outside (me) was always being pushed off in the middle of the night. It is one of the few things that I don't like about our boat.
The solution was a simple one though. We took over the aft cabin and gave up the forward berth to the kids. My wife still has to climb over me for head calls in the middle of the night, but we find the more conventional rectangular layout of the aft cabin much more comfortable. It also seems a bit wider than the forward berth. It is a bit cozy, but pretty comfortable for two adults. Give it a try.

Thanks JVM,

If the angled bed doesn't work out, that's a good suggestion. I'll just have to put another TV down there. hehehe.

here are some pics I took today of the boat. I went down to sign my Coast Guard docs and took a glance at the progress. they already have the radar/gps/chartplotter installed along with the fishing rod holders in the back. They had a bunch of cleaning supplies on it too so I know tomorrow it will be spotless.
