Clearwater/Tampa Aquapalooza

I haven't been either but I think I'm going (weather permitting).

We usually go out to Egmont Key on Sundays so I'm thinking I will check it out. I've never been before either, but I'm curious if they will have any type of entertainment.

Put a few Bevvies in me and I'll entertain everybody

From the pictures of last years Aquapalooza it looks like everyone just anchors off the beach on the gulf side just north of the channel.

Here's the info I received yesterday.

Ft. Desoto State Park (Anchor Out)
Sunday, July 18th, 2010
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is your confirmation to attend the 5th annual AquaPalooza. We hope that you will enjoy the day that we have planned for you. Please feel free to get to know the other boaters joining you for this wonderful event.
We will be anchoring off the beach at Ft. Desoto State Park, near the Gulf Pier (South West) (please see map). Both bow & stern anchoring are highly recommended to secure your boat. Once you are safely anchored, please make your way to the beach. MarineMax flags will be posted in the area of the registration table.
Registration is scheduled to take place on the beach between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00. At that time, you will receive your t-shirts and your lunch (if you registered before 7/1/10).
MarineMax will be providing a lunch, which will include a BBQ sandwich and a side. Please bring a beverage of your choice in a plastic container, as glass is not allowed in the park.
Music will be provided - our DJ will announce the day’s events!
For more information about Ft. Desoto State Park visit their website at: http://www.fortdesoto.com

Some bad phone pics!
Not a bad showing, probably 50-70 boats at peak.

Unfortunately I didn't get to take any pics, I was busy playing with my 15 month old or blending up some frozen rum runners. It was a good turn out though with every type of boat you could imagine. I was anchored near a new 350 DA. That's the first time I saw this model. Nice boat!
