I had new white Stamoid installed over the winter while the boat was in storage. I've been washing the boat weekly, but noticed yesterday that some very large bird(s) had done a real job of decorating the top.

Anyone had experience with deep cleaning Stamoid material?

Never hear of it either.

They do have a website:http://www.stamoidmarine.com/gb/index.php

"All around the world amateur and professional sailors alike vote for Stamoid® Marine for their superior durability, full water-roofing,
space-saving, easy maintenance, UV resistance, and many more qualities.

"These are top quality products that enable marine outfitting professionals to fit out your boat to perfection, thereby
protecting your investment for many a long year.
The extensive Stamoid® Marine range helps amateur sailors to find optimal solutions for their roofing and protective fitted covers, their sunshine awnings, canopies and Bimini tops, their protective screens and leatherwork, etc."

stamoid is the top of the line when it comes to canvas.

stamoid and EZ2CY and you would swear your in a house

dont know how to clean it though, someone did tell me NOT to send it out to be cleaned like regular canvas though.

I got a little over anxious and purchased a container of Meguiar's Canvas Cleaner, but decided to do a little Internet research before I used it. Probably a good thing, since Stamoid is a plastic, not canvas.

Anyway, I had an interesting discussion with Scalise Marine in FL. They recommend the IMAR line of products, so I placed a rush order

I'll let you guys know the results as soon as I use it.

Imar makes several really good products. You can't beat their products for cleaning and polishing Strata Glass and other clear vinyl products.
