Cleaning Non Slip area

I will add my vote to Star Brite non skid Deck Cleaner and a deck brush on the non-skid area.

Use it before you wax. What runs off tends to take the wax off the sides of the boat.

Another vote for Star Brite non skid Deck Cleaner. It seems to have some compound that makes the non-skid have more grip after cleaning.

Waxing Non Skid ah.... :smt021

To each his own ...

We scrub Asureyez Non Skid with Soft Scrub and rinse ... We try to keep wax and even wax dust off non skid, so we dont skiddooo unexpectedly.

Non skid only works well when its really clean and free of soap residues, oils and waxes.

I agree completely.
Wound up in the 50 degree water many moons ago after waxing the swim platform on an old 22 Sea Ray.
Shot out of that water like a rocket!!!!
That water was C'C'C'COLD!!!! :smt043 :smt043

In the spring, before re-commision, we power wash the non-skid, and wax the smooth.
During the season, Clorox Clean-Up gel and a stiff brush, and plenty of rinse, to protect the waxed surfaces.

Crazy Clean - the previous owner left it on the boat. I comes in a spray bottle and has cleaned grease off the white seats and early today cleaned stains off the swim platform that came from placing leaky garbage bags back there.

Excellent products which were recommended by a friend and which I have continued to use for the past three years for anti-slip surfaces are manufactured by: "Aurora Marine Products". The initial cleaning is accomplished with a product called "Boat Scrub" and the protective product is "Sure Step". These perform to satisfy the cleaning and sealing without having any undesirable "slippery when wet" problems associated with many other products I've attempted to use in the past. It does exactly what it says it will do.

We use a cleaner called Roll Off and it's activated when you wet it.
Just a couple sprays and hit it with water and the deck brush.

I really haven't waxed any of the non skid...I'm afraid I might take a unintentionally swim.
I believe it leaves a dirt resistant finish and it does seem to leave some what of a shine like wax.

I've tried them all. I have found that Marykate "Detail" works the best.
Just my observation/opinion
