Cleaning my Cat 3126 air filters. Best way?

Assuming that I should soak them in something? What? What about drying them?
 
Do you have Walker Air Seps or the Cat OEM foam filters?

Probably Air-Seps because Sea Ray installed them on all Cat engines after about 1/97. If so, the filters are made by K&N. You can go to an auto parts store and buy the K&N filter cleaning kit then just follow the instructions on the box. Generally you must wash the filter with the detergent in the box, rinse, then let them air dry....overnight or 24 hours is adequate, then re-oil the element with the oil in the kit.
