I have a small amount of mildew stain on the top of some bolsters. Other than Magic Eraser and 303, are there any other cleaning processes anyone can recommend?

Thanks
Jim

I would avoid a Magic Eraser, they are abrasive and remove material to clean.

Many have success with Spray 9, others say try a diluted bleach soaked cloth (AVOID THE STITCHING).

Yes, skip the magic eraser. There's no "magic" there... it's essentially sandpaper.

Use a WHITE cloth, soaked/dampened with about a 10:1 water:bleach. Lay it on there for a few minutes, then rinse with water and treat with 303. As mentioned, avoid the stitching - which is where the rag comes in handy.

if all else fails you can have the bolsters re-dyed.....I had the bottom of all my cockpit seats re-dyed....the seat below was covered with mold stains that would not come out......its been several months now and the seats still look great....and the price was very reasonable....

I used this company that are mobile and came to my marina.... http://www.wecanfixthat.com/

I had the same issue and decided to paint them. I used SEM Vinyl paint and the bolster came out great. SEM even comes in Sea Ray white. It's been a year and it still looks great.
