What technique do you use to clean your vacu flush toilet?
Water leaks out of the toilet and I believe the ball/seal is not working properly. I read where the ball may develop a buildup of mineral deposits thereby breaking down the seal with the rubber gasket. If this is the case then replacing the toilet seal will not solve the problem.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I always put a little NoFlex in the bowl before we leave and swish it around and flush. Then put a little more in it and leave it there until the next time we come. Never had an issue. If water is leaking out, I assure you a new bowl seal will fix that issue.

We used Tide powdered laundry detergent. That is recommended in the owner manual that came with the vaccuflush head. Put a cup of powdered Tide in the bowl after you fill it to the top with water. Then depress the flush pedal for one minute. We did this weekly. Never a part or seal failure in 15 years. Put a little Vaseline on the black rubber seal at the base of the bowl when we stored the boat for the winter to keep it from adhering to the bowl. This is also recommended.

You may find this helpful, I found it a few years back.

I think the people that only Pee there toilets end up with more problem in the long run because urine crystalizes which makes a hard coating on everything. When you just use your Vacu flush like a regular toilet the waste will eliminate the crystals from forming

Thank you for this technique, but
Do you have to use powdered tide or will the liquid version work as well?
How long do you keep the tide/water mixture in the bowl before flushing?
Why do you depress the pedal for one minute?
Thank you.

Owner manual specified powdered, not liquid. You depress the pedal for one minute to run lots of water through the system. I would leave a small amount of soapy water in plumbing to keep things fresh. We never had any odors which is unusual for boat heads. Always did this while getting a pump out.
