Clean Bimini top canvas

Can anyone recommend how I can clean the canvas of my bimini top just to make it look a little cleaner again?


Also, is there a product that I can use to put on the canvas to keep the canvas cover water repellant?

You can unzip it and wash it in a washing machine. Go to the Sunbrella web site or your owners manual for detergent recommendation. Sunbrella recommends 303 Fabric Protector, works great.

to clean I use a canvas cleaner from west marine and oxy clean mixed with water in a bucket.spray the cleaner then saturate with the oxy clean.scrub with brush then rinse.after drying apply 303 protectant.made my canvas look like new.

If you use a machine to wash - use Woolite or Ivory - and AIR DRY. Do not put Sunbrella in the dryer. There is a "recipe" on the Sunbrella website that uses bleach and a mild detergent but can't recall the measurements. The secret is to let it soak about 5 minutes, I think, then brush. As said above, nothing but 303 on my tops and carpet runners too.
