Hi everyone! I have a '65 Sea Ray 800 deluxe that I have owned for a number of years, but after being stored outdoors at a friends house, for too many years, realized that if I didn't do something with it quick it would be too late. Last year all new floors, and stringers, this year, mechanicals, and trailer rehab, this fall transom rebuild. Did actually make it out on a lake at the end of last summer, but didn't perform well. Will chip away at things slowly, but right now, at least it looks good in the driveway! I have more experience with old cars, this is my first and most likely only boat. Picked it up with a friend when he moved to a lake house here in CT. Used it on Sundays with his 2 girls, ( who were young then) but never reliable enough to take it out on the river. Perhaps someday.........
