From time to time I've noticed people searching for a replacement for their older Clarion XMD3. Didn't think too much about it until a couple weeks ago our XMD3 crapped out. No big deal....just get the newer CMD6 right? Then you also have to upgrade your satellite antenna, remotes & everything else connected to it. We were close to 1k not counting any installations costs.
My dealer found these guys for me. Got a brand new CMD5 that is compatible with my remotes $240 delivered. They also have a CMD4A for $189. Not bad......
