Clarion Stereo in 2002 320 no workie

I have been trying to get this to work.

I have confirmed that it has power to eject and load CD's, but will not power up at all.

The DC power switches inder the helm seats are on.

I have the "stereo" breaker on the DC panel "on", and all other DC things are working. All DC breakers on panel in engine space "on", and I have pressed and reset breaker in EIM panel under helm. (can the 3 amp breaker go bad?)

Do I have to have something switched on at helm? I have tried the forward and aft acc switches "on", no results.

I have also "reset" the stereo by putting a paperclip into the little hole next to the single CD eject button on the stereo.

Thoughts?



Any ideas?

There is a button on the helm switchpad, Right side, and it looks like a little speaker. Push it so it lights up (meaning it is on). The stereo will never work without pushing this button on.
