Clarion RF remote control issues.

Some of the buttons on my Clarion remote control stick down after I press them, particularly the volume, and I have to wiggle them to get them to pop back up. They seem to slip under the top cover unless they are pressed perfectly straight down. Anyone have the MF1 RF remote have this issue or should I send it back for exchange?

My Clarion CMD4 radio has gone bad. Can i replace it with the Clarion CMD6 or the CMD7 with out replacing the remote on the transom or the remote on the dash?

No, they are not compatible. MM

MM.....I have the same remote but bought it under the iRock name before they too were discontinued. My button covers have stuck a couple of times over three years but not to the point of becoming an issue. Cool little device.

Thanks John, They suggested I adjust the waterproof membrane to correct this issue. Some sticking is normal if you push and roll the button under the housing. MM

if you cannot get this going you may want to try buying the magnadyne rf remote. it works with most major brands, and it is a rf to ir converter, pretty simple to install
