I thought I would mention this in case I am not the only knumbskull who hadn't figured this out until yesterday.

I always thought the only way to change your audio source was by using the button labled "band/disc". But that only seemed to work with CDs or when you were tuned to Sirius Satellite. If I wanted to change to FM or change back to CDs or Satellite, I always went into the cabin and pressed the appropriate button on the main unit. Then I discovered yesterday you could change the source on the remote by just tapping the red Power button lightly. So as they say, "when all else fails read the manual" so that's what I did and yep that's the way you do it.

So now you can all tell me that you already knew that and I am dumb as a doorknob or fess up and say you were as ignorant as me.

You think you would have read every manual when you were dry docked last year!

I found that out accidently. I had the CD on and was going to turn it off but only quickly pressed the button and it switched to Aux or radio!

That makes 3 because that's how I found out too.....................and that's when I read the manual.

Dave I'm disappointed in you.:smt009 Of all people I thought you would have read the manual. :grin:How was it on your 240SD?

Chuck...........I didn't have satellite radio on the 240SD and that was probably why I didn't read the manual. I already "knew everything" about the remote............RIGHT?

Good point, I hate to say I've done the same kind of thing myself.

I read all of my manuals about 3 times now, so that means I would have had to read it the 4th time to figure it out when it finally happened to me

I barely now how to turn the radio on....that's my daugter's job...Boat tunes have been her job since she was 10....the younger generation don't have to read manuals when it comes to music...they somehow just know that stuff....When ever she's not onboard....I just power it up and "something" always seems to come out of the speakers...
