Well.... My Clarion M455 died as of yesetrday.... Looks like the optical laser pick-up for reading CD's is on the blink! "Error 6" message, tried all of the system resets that I know of, an still can't get a CD to play! All other functions on the radio work flawlessly...

Finally got a hold of technical support at Clarion.... They got me in touch with their repair hub here in Houston.... Minimum $110.00 to "LOOK" at the the head unit, then whatever it cost to repair it!

Here's the REAL problem.... Clarion's current head units, which I wouldn't mind having, ARE NOT compatible with the 2 remotes I have installed in my boat... Better yet, the 24 ft. extension cable AND "Y" splitter isn't compatible either...

The Clarion M455 and the M475 is compatible with my remotes, but these head units are no longer available...

I'm really not wanting to replace the head unit and both remotes (and all the hardware) at this time....

Anyone have a M455 or M475 laying around? If so, let me know and we'll see if we can't work out a deal!!!

I know that a lot of time has passed, but I have a Clarion M455 along with a M101RC-C remote control that I am interested in selling. Let me know if you are still in need. Ben Comer (919) 271-3904
