My Clarion M1000R got wet and is likely beyond repair. Is there anyone out there who might know where I can get a replacement? Or perhaps anyone who repairs these units. It is from my 96' Sundancer. Thanks.

I don't have a radio, but I have a nice set of 6 1/2 " speakers out my 1996 Sundancer I took out years ago. They work great and look like new.

Hi Mike,

Browsing, looking for speakers and saw your note. Do you still have them? If so, how much?

Thanks,

Jerry

My Clarion M100R has bit the bullet any suggestions for a replacement? I still have the six CD changer and Amp in place. I'm looking to sell the boat the end of this season 2010 so I'm looking to keep it simple and resonable cost. All wait a minute I'm talking about something that has to do with a boat There is nothing simple and resonable costing for a boat HA HA!

What are you going to try and get for your 290?

I also have the M1000R Head Unit, the M605 6CD Changer, and Helm remote that I took out of the boat last year if anyone is interested.

I don't have an amount in mind just yet. I've been trying to hold off buying a newer boat till we pay off the house next year. But the first mate is really starting to look and apply pressure to do it sooner than later. I bought it 2nd hand from my neighbor who never used it. It was an upgrade from a 26 foot for us at the time.

What did you replace your old radio with? I really don't need the CD played just a radio with an IPod jack. But I don't want to rewire the amp and speaker that came with the boat.

Bill-

I used Sony equipment for the replacement, new head unit and wired remote at the helm. You should be able to replace the head unit fairly easy, on my boat the cabin speakers were driven by the deck, and the cockpit speakers were hooked up to an amp with rca cords, plug and play there. Just had to move the speaker wires for the cabin to the new wire harness.

I still have the radio, changer, and helm remote with cables. Let me know if interested.

I am looking for an m1000r. Do you still have it? If so, how much are you asking for it?
