Clarion M1000R wiring diagram

Hi - just joined Club Sea Ray. I have a 270 Sundancer with a 1995 vintage Clarion sound system. I want to upgrade the system to a CD plus IPOD interface unit. When I pulled the Clarion M10000R from the panel, I found a jumble of unmarked wires in the back. Some of them are clearly speaker wires in a 16 pin connector wire harness, but there are 3 or 4 more wires, most of them rather large black wires not part of the harness, connected to the back that I cannot recognize. I need to know what I am dealing with before I start cutting wires to connect my new system. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or installation manual for this unit that they can share? I have tried the Clarion web site and even tried calling Clarion directly but they have basically made themselves unavailable to provide any support for older units. The manuals aren't available on the web site and you can't reach a live person on the phone numbers listed for customer support. Help!!

Just joined, I'm looking for M1000R head. I have the six cd changer, cassette, amp and a remote system. Do you still have the head? What condition is it in? How much?
I may be able to help with the wiring diagram, I have the original book and schematic.
