Clarion head unit: CMD5 vs. M475 vs. M455A

Ok, I know I want to purchase one of these. The CMD5 and the M455A both work with the wired remote with digital readout. As far as I can tell the M475 only works with the remote w/o the digital readout. If I had to choose I would get the M475 with the digital readout remote......is there one that works?

Next solution/question. I like the CMD5, it has a digital remote which works with it, but will the headunit fit? I have seen a description that says it is an oversized unit. Does it just have a oversized face so that it fills out the recessed mounting location better OR is it oversized all the way around? Will the CMD5 fit in a standard stereo "slot"?
Does anyone have photos of this unit installed and from the side not installed?

Last question: Reading the westmarine cataloge I am at a loss as to which of these decks would be best for seperate outputs for front, rear, and sub. Can I for example have one output for fronts, deck powers middle boat, and rear outputs to amp for rear 6.5" and sub?
