Clarion CMD5

Hello Everyone,

I've been looking all day for a replacement receiver for my Clarion CMD4A (gone bad) and cannot find one. I can use a CMD4A or a CMD5 with my current remotes and 6 CD changer. (Although I would love to upgrade, I don't want to lose the CD changer or have to wire new remotes).

Does anyone know where you can pick possibly pick up a CMD5?

I just went through the same process. The ONLY place to find one is ebay. I looked everywhere else but had no luck. You could also look into sending the CMD4 to Clarion for repair. They charge something like $75.

Thanks everyone. I got really lucky.....it seems that most of the listings on the internet were "not available". I searched at the right time as someone on another "forum" actually listed a CMD5 last night! Paid a premium, but better than having to pay up the nose for a new CMD6 with new remotes, and fish through new wires, etc. (I did talk with Clarion and they said the CMD6 would still be able to read the CD Changer in case this helps anyone).
