The CMD is really outdated anyway

I have the CMD4 with a JL MBT-RX plugged into the Aux jacks and it works perfectly....plays through all speakers when asked to....

Hi there. I just tried to install the same JL BT unit and got the problem of it only working in the front cabin speakers. What type of set up do you have with external amps as that might be the issue. It actually plays in the cabin at the same time something is playing in he cockpit. Weird!

When connecting as on my pictures it plays both in the cabin and outside.
You can change this on the CMD to only play in one place

Wonder if you can help tell me how your system is set up since it works with same JL product. Do you have external speakers and how are they hooked in is my guess where my problem may lie. When I plug mine in it only plays in the forward cabin and can even play something else at the same time on the cockpit speakers so it seems to now have a mind of its own being 100% controlled by the phone with no overriding controls on the remote or actual receiver. Thx.
