Does anyone have a preference on which brand is the best one to purchase. Next spring we are going to replace ours because we just started to lose pressure when we hook up to city water.

Thanks BrittLady. The old one is not a Shurflo so I think I will purchase the Shurflo for the replacement.

May not be the pressure regulator. I would check for an obstruction at the faucets and the regulator. Sometimes deposits can become stuck in the screen filters and cause what seems like pressure drop. When the regulator goes it will leak at the connection. At least this was my experience.

Hi Paul,

We did check all the screens and they were fine. How do you check the regulator?

Does anyone know what the safe water pressure should be in a 99 Sundancer 370DA???

The regulator is basically a backflow preventer. There is a screen at the hose connection. If you want you can take it apart by removing the part and on the backside there are 4 screws that hold all the seals together. If I remember correctly there is a spring inside. I would not recommend pulling if apart unless you are ready to replace it.

When your fresh water pump is running do you have leaking occurring at the pressure regulator? If not then it probably is not your problem.

Do you have significantly higher pressure with the pump than the city water? If so I do not believe it is the pressure regulator. Are you sure your city pressure is not the issue?
