Ok, my canoe is on the dry and hiding in a bunker till summer. I know that many are still afloat waiting for a Christmas eve or day run. With that I know many have decorated for the event so "LET"S SEE THOSE LIGHTS!!"

And Merry Christmas to all.

After a Mac update....I need to reload PhotoB. That's where the pics are

No one has a light to show. Grinch stole Christmas???
We didn't decorate the boat this year due to our annual lighted boat parade being cancelled because of the invasive water hyacinth covering the river making it too dangerous to navigate the river. The Grinch out here is the Delta Hyacinth! We will be making some runs over the holiday season though! Merry Christmas!

Maybe new years will find better weather. Merry Christmas to all. In the mean time here's our tree in the family room and foyer.
Yeah, my family room is full of tall mast ships.

It really is crazy. They built a small 6 row parking lot where people can funnel in and tune to a radio station to listen. We went right after Thanksgiving and we drove right up. Last Sunday, the line was a half mile long to pull up. It's insane. Last year, we waited over 90 minutes and turned around because it was too long. Donations are taken but they go to charity. They have about 20 songs choreographed and it is simply amazing.

Very cool to see basically a professional arrangement like that. Take a look at this video about a local old timer and his decorations. His story is even more amazing to me based on what he does his decorations with. This is his last year doing this so we are heading to see his house tonight. He is now 85 so he can't do it any longer...
