Chirp Radar Anyone Using

Been thinking about getting a new Radar System. Looked at Raymarine HD , but now Simrad has Chirp Radar and I seriously do not want to buy already outdated Radar. Anyone using Chirp radar ??

I just received my new radar from Fedex yesterday. After a ton of research I went with the Furuno Navnet 3D. I have a Simrad NSS 12 MFD, it works as advertised. Two things, Simrad stopped supporting this model 2 months after I purchased it. That left me feeling a bit chapped. I did consider the chirp setup but in the end its too new for me.

Furuno is by far considered the leader in Radar, and I have run many sport fishers with said equipment. And their Navnet gear has been around for about a decade, and in speaking with a Furuno tech, there is little chance that they will end the support for my new gear anytime soon.

Just some cheap input from one guy.
