I'm going to be in Chicago this weekend for work. I coming in Friday afternoon and was wondering if there are any marina's downtown to stroll through. My work stuff doesn't start till Sat morning so I was going to kill a little time downtown. I use to go to Chicago all the time to party so I know where the bars are, just looking for marina's. Most likely I'll end up sitting at the beer garden watching (envying) the boats. Thanks.

Head over to Navy Pier for a stroll, some dinner and a few drinks.
Watch the parade of boats go by.
Take a ride on one the Sea Dog 'go fast' head boats for fun.
Friday and Saturday Evenings you can take one of the 'head' boats out for a spectacular view of the weekly Fireworks Shows.
You can walk out of Navy Pier and cross to the South and walk along the edge of Du Sable Harbor and then into Monroe Harbor.
Lots of sail and power boats.
Usually the gates are open and you can stroll down the docks and start up a conversation or two.
