Chicago Boat Show...

Thought about it. However I was kind of wanting to see some of the smaller Sunseekers and I know they won't be there. Anybody know what Sea Ray models will be there?

went to the show here in St.Louis last year....complete waste of time and money to me...nice if ya fish or want a pontoon or PWC.

That was the Lou tho...we're assbackward most of the time.

That's where I bought my boys' PWC. The Sea Doo dealer out of Jeff City crushed the local guys on price. Not much else to look at except the 350 SLX. Sweet ride, but not for me.

What day are you going Scott?

I will be working the Racine Yacht Club booth most of the day Saturday, stop by and say hello

Prob going to head down on Thur during the day. Wife and daughter enjoy making a day of it and taking the train in and out of the city. Any lines on discount tickets?

Biggest SR there will be the 2015 470 Sundancer, per Skipper Bud's. I an pick up complimentary tickets at local SB stealership, but decided to pass, not worth the trip as the show is not what it once was, despite the joy of smelling new fiberglass.

2 years ago I went to that show and bought a damn pontoon. Took me a year and a half to smarten up and get back into a Sea Ray.

No way am I going anywhere near that place again

I am going to be there Saturday with my twin boys (8y.o). We are going to take the train in Friday afternoon. 1st ride on a train for them, and looking at boats on Saturday. They are beyond excited.

Was planning on taking the family Saturday. But my kids now have race training on Saturday due to missing so much time during the warm December. maybe next year...enjoy fellas.

I was at the Chicago Boat Show the last two days. What a difference from just a couple years ago! When I was there in 2013, things felt kind of dark and lifeless. This year they've switched to a new area within McCormick and there's a completely different vibe to the show. It's bright and big! I had the chance to get on a 500 Prestige and a larger Gran Turismo. And of course, the 410 and new 470 Sundancers. Skipper Bud's has a LOT of Sea Ray sport boats, too. Anyway, there's a buzz in industry circles about just what a turnaround this show has had this year. Just me experience. -- Matt

The boat show was excellent this year. Worth the few bucks and the crowds.....
