Well that's confusing. Your boats seem like "open checkbook" boats so he couldn't have missed something. Was he concerned where he shouldn't have been?
 
He handled a several surveys of boats that were stored in a local marina building that experienced a fire a few years ago. That’s all I care to say.

Well all that does is leave questions. Two recommendations for Rick and an "he surveyed several boats that caught fire, but I'm not saying anything else..."

Plenty of good surveyors out there, as with the boat - buyers should do their due diligence with surveyors.

Yeah, but how do you know. He did one for you and did one for me that seemed to be alright. (He's also been recommended on other sites, times.) Then a cryptic "proceed with caution" without any details. Could mean he left something on which burned the place down, missed something which burned the place down, or surveyed the damage after the place burned down. Who knows.

Be careful with Andrew Yandt; make sure everything is written down. He did a boat for me in 2021 and stopped the survey after about 1 hour. He did not recommend the boat and said "I can save you some money and stop now". Needless to say, he did not want to refund a dime and has not to this day. PM me for details.
