chesapeake bay winds and waves--newbie

Funny. I never knew they had a website, just the app. I picked up a card with the itunes information at the Bay Bridge boat show last spring. Pretty handy app, and looks liek the website is too. The 1/7/30 day tracking looks interesting.

Oh yea, website is very useful. If you like data, there is plenty to be had there. Especially checking the graphs of max. wave height, gusts, etc. after a tropical storm!

Let's us know how it goes, the river was smooth as silk early then by late today turned rough and angry again. I was up at Jordan PT. working on a house....I hate working near the river and seeing it so smooth, then getting done and seeing it look so bad.

went great. got in ~ 3 to my dock. a little low tide but ok. one issue - i had new water pumps put in, one engine read 12 psi and the other 20 psi. is that ok? i couldnt find in the manual what they should be. i also had new transom assemblies put in and now the trim indicator doesnt work.
always something but the drive over was perfect weather. thanks for all the advice.
