We just had a wonderful time on the bay with the Baltimore Yacht Club with ports of call in Herrington Harbor, Cambridge Hyatt, and finally St. Michaels. Having done this cruise in the past there really was not much difference expect this time it was with a yacht club, and being a new member they made it a very good experience for us. We jumped in with both feet and got involved and everyone there made us feel very welcome. The weather was incredibly hot, so a lot of time was spent in the pools at the various locations. For the most part the water for the cruising was relatively flat, expect the last day on the way home we had a 1 to 3 foot chop most of the way. Running the bay often, I call that moderate, so it was no big deal to me.
The club had lots of activities planned and was very well organized, so hats off to the Fleet Captain for organizing the entire event. We had a great experience on our first, but certainly not last, cruise with BYC.
