Checking out a SeaRay Seadancer SRV 270...any advice?

Hello all,
I am about to go check out a Sea Ray SeaDancer SRV 270. I am told that there were only about 50 of these boats made in 1984. Does anyone have any advice for me? I'm not finding much info. on line about them. Has anyone even heard of this boat before? There are over 1000 hrs on the twin inboard engines which makes us a bit nervous. Although we are told they are very mechanically sound..should we be nervous?

I actually own one of these boats and maybe the fact that only a few were made is why I too cant find much info
Mine has 2 4.3 mercs and alpha one outdrives which the owner says is a bi underpowered causing higher Rpms required to get and stay on plane. He gave me scary numbers like 28 gph

Go to classic sea rays or sport cruiser there a lot of the out there. and check Spookeays threads she is remodeling one:thumbsup:
