Checking ground problems on a 7.4L 454

Can anyone tell me where to start checking for ground problems on my 454, keep having electrical problems, now the stereo does not work although the hot wire reads 12.38V

i would start with the engine block ground then follow the grounds coming from there. Don't be satisfied that they are tight remove them from the connection clean and reattach a thin coating of No-ox would be good idea also. On my 1989 230 wk. there is a ground bar located high up in the engine room above the batteries plus another one behind the dash board where the stereo fuse is located.
