Not my boat, but looks like a newer 30' Sea Ray from Florida was transported up to Rochester and launched Friday. They made the short drive to the Port of Rochester marina and I believe it sank overnight at the dock. I haven't heard what the cause was yet.

a 30 footer has a lot of thru hulls. So it seems that if you launch a boat and dont inspect everything it sinks. Sounds like it needs a better "float plan"
Now is the party who launched it in trouble?
Is it the owner who was negligent?
Or does it need bigger, additional bilge pump(s)

Good lesson for us all - turn off the thru hulls going into the water - then turn on one by one to inspect for seepage.
We keep our 280 in rack storage and the first thing the fork lift operators do before lifting boats into the water is check the drain plugs.
