cheap led lights....

just installed new led rope light from novelity lights.com, they are the cool white super bright leds 12 volt. they look great, and used the plastic track they sell to mount them in. i ordered a total of 12 foot for each side of the boat and the track, with shipping had 150.00 tied up in the lights...... hope to post pics later tonight so i can show how bright they are...........

I'd love to see the pics, as well as find out how the install was. I've thought about doing that myself. Are you running them under the gunwale so they shine to the floor?

LED ropes lights are sweet. Here is my boat with Blue ones. We sell them too, for a little less :grin:

i ran them under the gunwale, and used the wiring already in place for the to plastic lights that came from the factory by the rear facing seats install took abuot 2 hours and they look sweet....

Rope lighting is such an easy and rewarding project to do to any boat. It really is a great way to light up your cockpit.
