Wow, probably a short time thing to promote hysteria. A station did that here about a month ago but on Saturday..for 3 hours only.
Saw it at 1.33 last night at the nearest land station to our marina.

I filled up twice these past few days (1/2 tank each time). I paid 2.589 the first time because she mis-spoke on the phone and the manager over heard her, so he honored the price when I showed up (2.58 vs 2.85).
Today, we paid 2.64. They were both mid-grade, no ethanol, on the water.

OK...on the roads yesterday morning the local gas was $1.29.....Just got back home from an afternoon out and the same station is $1.45!
Did I sleep through the declaration of war or something? WTF happened!!!!

Wow - looking forward to these prices! BOat is in storage for 3-1/2 more months though! The only down side is all our marina's fill up to the top in fall with fuel - so I am sure they aren't going to sell it at a loss! So those first few tanks will be a bit pricey!

It's due to the turmoil in the Middle East with Israel going into the Gaza Strip.
It's due to speculation... the Gaza strip thing has not disrupted gasoline from anything I've read.

$1.72 today in Mi. Now the State wants to add 18% at the wholesale level to pay to fix the road. My idea wait Washington will fix them from Federal dollars.
That's a great idea. Why make the people that live there pay for the roads when we can have people in other states pay for your roads. Why not? Hell... we are paying for the jobs up there now... why not the roads? How about the houses? Need help with that too? Maybe we can have other people pay to have servants wipe your asses up there too? Anything else? Oh wait... how about prisons? Need help from the federal government to pay for those? You guys need more social programs up there... more welfare... get the people in other states to pay for that too... you all deserve it after all.
