I just brought an ancor starter kit for under a $100. That alone will do nothing. If you want to see the data from your engines you’ll need a gateway of some type and cables to your gps. Look at my recent posts about this.I wish told over a grand to build a network is that about rite?
Just an FYI you won't get as much engine info. through BT as you will through n2k network.I've been up reading this since 3:00 this morning doing research I think I'm just going to get the Mercury vessel view and Bluetooth that to my cell phone just to check on my engine temperatures and engine parameters that's really all I need it for it's just a single engine boat. A 5.0 EFI alpha
Trashed @Big Perm 's thread on transducers. So now you want it on your phone, not your garmin MFD....

So I just went with vessel view mobile for a few reasons. It was 500 dollars less and I want to step up to a 24 or 26 foot boat in a few years. I know all the parts that I need and wrote it all down. Thanks for the help. I really wanted to keep an eye on temp and water pressure. I appreciate everything
Those are nice, a quick install and less expensive but from what I've read will not provide nearly as much information as the full system integration unit's will.Went with vessel view for a few different reasons, cost and would like to move up to a 24 26 foot boat in the future
