Has anyone found a way to view the image on the chartplotter at the helm, on the television down below?

Thought it would be cool to display it that way.
Not sure it's possible, as I am way behind on my audio/visual tech knowledge.

Thanks!

I saw it done this year. I think it was on a Regal with Garmin Electronics. TV was Samsung. I'm not sure if it was done via a Smart TV App or the Garmin Plotter has a video out feed of some sort....

My Garmin 5212 came with a video-out adapter to VGA. I ran a long VGA cable from the MFD to the TV, then I bought an RF remote for the Garmin.

I do this with my E120 display using the vga output, tied to the salon TV. Works great.

the simrad nss does it also.

I also use the vga from my raymarine E120 to get signal in the salon.I also, purchased the remote keyboard to access all functions in the salon and it works great

Yeah, working in comfort is much nicer. I have Garmin 4212's with the VGA out, I just converted the signal and can view it anywhere. Garmin also has an RF remote which is a nice feature.
