Looking on bringing my boat up to Bohicket marina in early April and staying for 6 months.

Thought that would be it, but talked to someone near Beaufort and they spoke very highly of Lady's Island Marina. Not near Seabrook, but he said that location is much better than Bohicket

Wondering if there are any other options close to Seabrook that would be good?

Need two 50 amp connections and prefer floating docks for a non sea ray 68'

John- I don't really have anything to add on topic as I do not remember the marinas in that area well enough to be of service. I was wondering where you've been. Surely one of those marinas will let you dock that rusty barge there.

Matt,

Was getting to know Ft Myers, had a great time. Took ole Uncle Barge to Ft Lauderdale for a week and brought the cold PA air with me for a few days. Made it back to FTM and now getting ready to go to SC for awhile.

Trying to line up a captain to help with the mx etc while in SC and that is becoming a chore.

What are your plans for splashing or do you stay in the water in TN?

John- Pirate is in Ocean Reef on Key Largo right now. Family is going down Friday for the week and then I will start back to TN with her on Sun 3/23. It usually takes me about 6-7 days from Key Largo to Knoxville.

We've made the trip to Charleston many times (though it's been 5+ years). That's our official 'turn around' spot as we head up the eastern seaboard. Good luck on your trip. How has your Laz been treating you? I really thought I had beat meter disease (aka foot itis) and (the truth is I may have), but the LSX Quad and the 74 Hard Top (I like the tender space on the platform) really pull at me...... that is until I start looking at $5/gal fuel, 100+ gal/hr, maintenance costs, and crew salaries. See, I've pretty much got myself talked out of it already.

Ocean Reef is great, how long were you there?
Will you be passing thru Ft Myers after Mar 25?
If so, stay at the cove I am at, I'll arrange all the hookups etc., right behind a house

I'll be at Palmetto Point on Mar 25th , you can google 6872 Griffin Blvd, it's right next to Gulf Harbor and they have diesel, but if you need a nice load, i can arrange a truck to top you off. I just got a 1000 gallons at $3.52 and the marinas are all plus 4
PPoint is about 30 min from the ICW, hang your first right after the Sanibel bridge, go thru a slow go , run for 5 mins , then slow go taxi about 15 to the cove.

but understand if the gulf is nice, you'll probably want to run hard on the outside.
i just passed you on feb 25 to FTL and returning Feb 29.
Laz has been very good.
heard a few things.
they are doing a 92or 95 LSX semi top secret and also a new hull 120'

had a guy come down and spend 2 days on an orientation for me and he had a few things to say about the LSX.
sales a little slow but they just sold 2 hulls at the same time to the same guy from brazil.

was always a dancer type until i got this thing and now, forget it, will always stay with the bridge ( gotta have stairs though). wife insisted on a bath tub and day head so pretty soon the choices got very limited.

seen the LSX? saw it at FTL, impressed, then went in the 68 and 84 and never looked back.

get itis and get praying on a 72 Hatt MY--one sweet machine there dude.

I'll be leaving end of month for Seabrook and stay there for 6 months and may take Uncle Buck to DC for an October Army show.

Great and safe travels to you
