Just returned from a 3 day trip towing the 260 to Charleston (Wappoo Creek landing).

Docked at City Marina
Walked into town
Beached on Morris Island
Went to Red's on Shem Creek (stacked us 4 deep from the dock)
Went to the Sea Ray Aquapolooza (lots of boats and current!)
Drank too much on Market Street
Ate at Hank's (awesome Shrimp and Grits)
Went out around the jetties to check out some wrecks on the depth finder
Got caught outside the jetties when the winds picked up....:smt038
Watched dolphins feed on a school of fish
Got 10 mpg on the tow but no flat tires this time
Sweated my *$$ off
Marvelled at how many people waved on the water

Charleston was fantastic!!

That is all.

We went to Charleston a few months ago and docked at Charleston Harbor Marina. We had a blast. We went up the ICW from Savannah, GA., and had a great time. Glad y'all had a good time.

I don't know if you know it but we have a Carolina boat club on facebook. It's called Carolina Boaters. We are actually doing a Charleston/Folly beach/Morris island trip over the 12th, 13th, and 14th of Aug. All are invited to join with us. We all are members here also. Anyways, if you like, I'm sure we would all enjoy your company. Check us out.

Yes, I have been a member in there for a little while...I keep tabs on you guys!:grin: I wish I could head back up there for that weekend with all of you but I'm supposed to be in Milwaukee during those days.

Please take pictures....I never take enough pictures because I'm always having to drive, work lines, drop anchor, wash the boat, crank the genny etc...

Morris was great but the current really picked up when the tide started to rise. We were on the North side not in the inlet where we saw some others hanging out.
 
Hahaha, you know as I was writing that, I was thinking maybe he is already a member. I was lazy and didn't check the membership roster. Oh well, it was good intentions.

So, now we just need to get you on one of the trips. Wait, I have an idea! Maybe it's time for you to step up and organize a trip! yea! Anywhere you want, put the idea out there and it will probably grow a mind of it's own. You got a neat get away spot? It's on you now. haha
 
Sorry we missed you guys again Kendall! Maybe one day. Sounds like you had a great time and apparently did your homework to know where and what to do for a good time too! Think about Lake Keowee over Labor Day. It's an awesome lake!
 
You're going to have to come up with more pictures than this. Sounds like a great place to go boating.

I'm really tired of being lake bound but really don't have any alternatives given distance to ocean and time to boat.
