Changing Lower Unit Oil: Bravo III

Replaced my lower unit oil last week. Followed the proper procedure as far as pumping in from bottom until oil came out top vent plug. I then put the vent plug back. I gave it 4-5 more pumps I noticed there was way to much oil in the reservoir so I took the bottom bolt off to let some drain. After a week I looked again and the oil level is now 1/4 inch above the “low” line. No leaks, new seals. It must have settled. Can I put oil in from reservoir now? Or will I have to completely change oil again?

Just add lube to the reservoir and monitor it. I usually stop when it comes out the top plug and watch it and add to reservoir as necessary.
