Changing cockpit bulbs to LEDs

I have an 05 340 Dancer. I'd like to change the cockpit bulbs in the arch, and cockpit to LEDs. Can I use the same fixtures? Someone told me I need to change the fixtures. Didn't make sense to me. Anything to be aware of??

I changed the fixtures to get the tri colored LED's, however if you are just changing to one color, you can just change the bulb

Guys how do you remove the deck wood strips on top of a 1986 268 weekender cabin are they screwed from the top only or are they bolted all the way through, thanks Thomas

NO, NO, NO! You DON'T have to change out the fixtures! Very expensive to do that! Go on the Superbrite website ~ we got this info from another Club Sea Ray reader and, it saved us hundreds of dollars! Changed out cabin AND cockpit/deck ~ cool to the touch and, MUCH better quality! Used some blue, for nightime ~ good luck!!!!!

Thank you all. Am purchasing LEDs this week and will install this weekend. Good advice on the blue attracting bugs...AND will keep existing fixtures.
