Changing a boat name

I am thinking of changing the name of my Sea Ray. Some say its superstitious or bad luck. The name on it is ok but i would like another i have in mind. Would like any thoughts on changing boat names. Good idea or bad?
 
Butch, I spent 2 hours cleaning the name off the back of mine yesterday. I know what the concensus is with "bad luck". But, the guy I bought mine from had to sell it due to a bad divorce. The name at the time of the sale, "Family First".......I consider that bad luck!!! Changing it to "Pay Dirt", since I move dirt/rocks for a living thought it more appropriate!
