Change the impellers

Hi Guys,
I replaced my impellers 3 years ago, just wondering if I should change them out again. Fresh water Georgian Bay.

Yeah, after three years that is probably a good idea. Better to to it now than after your engine overheats.

I am at 2 years and plan to change mine this spring. My dock neighbor has the same year/make/model and he was at 3 years. Just a few small pieces were breaking away. 3 years is the absolute longest IMO, unless you want to chase pieces of impeller in your cooling system

Yes I think it’s time.

Mercury recommends every 3 years. I have it done every 2 years. I take some long trips so I want to know I'm going to get back home.
