Anybody out there knows how to remove the back of the chaise seat on a 29' 2001 sundancer.

If it is anything like mine its a piece of cake. Two screws remove an interior pannel that reveals about 5 screws that go through the fiberglass & into the plywood back of the seat back.
I ws reluctant to post because of how dfferent our boats might be, but I'd bet it shouldn't be too tough.
