Caterpillar Air Filter Source?

I have a 1989 440 Convertible powered by a couple of Cat 3208TA engines in need of new air filters. I have found a few, but don't feel that $150 each for paper filters is a good deal. Anyone know of a source offering more affordable options? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Can you find a K and N model number molded in the end ring?

I know the 3196 take standard Walker filters. I order direct from them.

Same as my setup, did that last year. Original ones are washable foam, I foumd a new set and used while I cleaned my old ones and stored in the basement parts drawers.

By the way Sea Dawg- I have the exact same model! First one I have seen.

I have the info at the boat (I have a set of manuals well documented with notes) but I probably have record here. I will be happy to look for you.

That first one may not work.
