I believe the white enamel CAT uses is Matterhorn White and p/n for spray is 140-2576 and 140-2577 for the gallon. Can anyone confirm? Would anybody know of a source besides CAT to find either? or, perhaps there is a different paint (i.e rustoleum or such) that is also suitable (handles heat and matches in color)?
gracias, Tim

I use automotive acrylic enamel. You can buy it in pints or quarts.....you have a real problem if you need a gallon for touchup. I find that rattle cans make a bigger mess than they save. I use Preval sprayers, available at Home Depot or auto stores, and mix just enough to do what I need to touch up. The last paint I used was a Dupont paint and it is a far better paint than the Cat touch up. The color is a match to a Nissan white from the 80's. I have a receipt here in Tennessee, but there is no color code on it. If you can wait a few weeks, I'll get a color code the next trip to Florida, or you can remove something small and take it to an auto paint store and match it yourself.

I did what Frank suggested. Found an Industrial Acrylic Enamel at Home Depot. It sprayed very good and still looks good after a years use. I primed some hard spots tho. I stunk up Marina for a day or two but then alot of the guys did the same thing. I am going down to the Boat in a couple of weeks and will post exactly what i used. Good luck, JC
