Carver 570 goes up in smoke on Saturday Morning

My broker who lives in Petaluma, texted me on Friday night asking if we were in Petaluma with our boat as he saw a 570 docked at the turn around basin (He was not involved in the purchase of the 506 and remembered we bought a boat an thought we had found a 570). We exchanged pleasantries and I told him we had settled on the 506.
Last night he texted me again with the following link. That boat caught fire Saturday morning and was gutted. So sad. I know most of most of the big Carvers in the area but don't know whose boat this was. At least the occupants escaped un injured.

So sad. Like you said, I'm relieved to hear the people got out safely. I shutter thinking about were I in that situation.
