Ok, I had a few bikes, too. Dirt bikes, FZ1, VTX 1800, Valkyrie, ZX14 and this CVO Road Glide

Last domestic car I owned was a 1997 Deville after that car I swore I'd never own another transverse front wheel drive car again. Went out and bought a used 530i still have her with 275 K on the clock. Needed something with a little more room to hull stuff to the boat. Got my wife a X3 35i. On normal runs to the boat a two hour drive is done in our 07 Cayman. I've never owned a new car when younger I couldn't afford the type of cars we liked. I've always said if BMW would build a 3/4 ton pickup I wouldn't own my GMC. The BMW thing all started because I have a 2003 LT 1200K when weather permits I now commute on a 2003 GS 1150R.

1997 Deville……they have zero maintenance and repairs costs after 130,000 miles or so.

That’s because by that point they are send to to crusher!

Also had this until recently. Scratching a nastolgic itch from my youth but realized my memory was far more favorable than reality.

Can't stop wanting an old Honda CBX tho. Will never learn a lesson.

Ya I wanted that 6cyl back in the day. That 750 brings back memories, my friend had a few to many beers, got naked and went streaking up and down main street on his, great fun until the cops came.

My first bike was a 1979 Kawasaki KX 750. That engine vibrated me hands to sleep, loved that bike though.

Alright. Time to bring out the big guns for my favorite ride... Must have put a million miles on this Honda Mini trail 50.

It was on my cousin's Z50 that I learned how to ride a bicycle. Yep, skipped the pedals and went immediately to powered.

Head gasket went at 100k harder then hell to work on.
135k for me.
Head gasket leak and overheat, low oil pressure, converter clutch error, AC leak that could never be found…..ugh.

You already saw the others in the username thread, so here's a couple more.

2018 Mustang 2.3L turbo (Ecoboost). That is one crazy car to drive! The thing acts like a big block for torque, but is almost neutral-balanced due to the light engine up front. And, 27mpg to work and back. There's quite a bit of history to the gray car. If you're so inclined, you can read about it here: Here it is next to a work-mates red convertible:

This is what it looked like last January:

Finally, my avatar and pride-and-joy, the 1974 Norton Commando 850!

Same bike, brand-new, just before my dad took her home. That's me at 14 years of age in my stylin' jean-jacket:

Again, if you're really bored, you can read its history here.
Great story on the bike. I had a similar situation with a boat, one my brother and I had in '63. A couple years ago I saw one on Craigslist in my area. I called the guy, asked some questions trying to identify it but he didn't know anything about it, he had been storing it for his daughter for many years. It was in rough shape, I didn't follow up, didn't go look. When ever I think of it I kick myself, I've never seen another like ours, there's a good chance I f'd up.
