Hi
Can i get carpets from usa fit my boat sea ray 340 taylor made ? Need spare switches etc
There are only a few 340 ec in the uk like three we know about

Welcome Carl. It will be unlikely you will find carpet for your boat pre-made. Your best bet would be to find a marine upholsterer in the UK near you and just have them made. I would think you could get snap-in cockpit carpet made for under $1000 US. And I assume you are talking cockpit carpet. If you are talking cabin carpet you are entering a completely different area and again, you will not find anything pre-made for a boat 30 years old.

I owned a 1989 340 Sundancer for 4 years and really loved the boat. Being in the UK, does your boat have gas or diesel engines?

Let us know how it turns out.

Carl, I am on my 4th boat and have replaced carpeting several times.
Always hated it getting wet. My wife and I tried Luxury woven Vinyl last season and got rid of the carpets. Purchased a 12 foot piece. We cut out all the sections with a standard pair of scissors, had them bound by a local rug dealer, and was done in a weekend! Then I put snaps on the sections where the studs were left on the boat from the carpet.
You will see more and more of this at any boat show. Stuff dries out fast and cleans easily. BTW, the picture is NOT my boat. It's just to give you an idea. My boat is covered for the winter.

Great idea for him....

Ask around. You might find a great local resource for the woven vinyl product. A local company that works on many boats in the marina did mine in 2 days inside and out. I could not have done it myself for any less.
