The bulbs on my energize switches are burnt out, and I would like to replace the bulbs. The switches still work. Does anyone know where I can get replacement bulbs and or part numbers?
According to the part manual the switches are. I have a 2005 Sundancer.

We are now stocking these Carling switches - they are VLD1 DPDT momentary switches with an indicator lamp. It is a pretty simple job to just replace the switches and probably not worth the effort of trying to take the switches apart to replace the bulbs.

We also have the tool to easily pop the cap off with out breaking it.

Now, before you go out an buy any new switches see if the lights work on the switches in the engine compartment (on the DC Panel Box). These work in conjunction with the ones in the cabin. If these do not light then it is quite possible that the indicator lamp fuse has blown at the solenoid.

If interested send me your info here: https://www.covemarine.com and I will email you my info.

Isn't he interested in the back lighting of the switch? Meaning the dash lights light the tops of the switch go on/off with the dash lights and when on, the current draw lights the bottom of the switch?

This Carling might not fix your problem but it might take your mind off it.

I believe the part he specified was for the energize switches on the DC panels:

These switches are #6 (above) and are inside the cabin at the distribution panel and also in the engine compartment at the main DC panel shown as #8 below:

Now, if the lights DO NOT work for the same function on BOTH these panels then it is likely the fuse is blown at the solenoid inside the Main DC breaker Panel. This comes from personal experience after replacing my switches to find one of them was a blown fuse. Once the solenoid is energized it feeds power back to both indicator lamps - that is unless the fuse was blown. :(

Ah, right. Sorry missed that little part.

I didn't know you had a shop in Plainview, I use to work at Veeco right up the street from your shop, small world.

I can see them out my window - right now I am in the last building on Ames. I have been here since the mid 90s. I have my tech biz and marine biz next to each other - although since our building was sold last year we have since relocated our data center and are no longer tethered here. I am also now evaluating what we need to continue to expand the marine biz.
