Hello - My Sundancer 290's dach is completely washed out, thanks to the Florida sun!
I want to replace the 3 dash pieces and 2 of them have many Carling switches.
Is there a tool for removing them?

Carefully with tiny screwdrivers... or you can buy a tool. New Wire Marine, for example, sells them. FYI, New Wire sells custom panels at good prices, too.

This is the tool and it makes removing the cover simple.

as @Lazy Daze mentioned you can use a small screwdriver but you need to be careful - especially when you want to reuse the cover. Since you are thinking about replacing it is not that big of a deal if they break when swapping out.

If you are interested getting one PM me - we have them in-stock. If you are going to order new customized covers check with the supplier and see if they have them - you probably will save on shipping.

Hi. Thx for these.
I have the tool to pop the cover.
What i need is the tool to detatch the switch on the back if there is one

You already have the tool... your fingers :) Squeeze and push. If there's a tool out there for that I wouldn't know - never found a need to even think about needing one.

Ok very good. Thankyou to everyone!

Anyone know how the tool is used? I have one and cant even tell what side of the panel it is used on.
Are you talking about the tool that Coron was hoping to find... or the tool that he already has but doesn't need?

If you are referring to the tool that @KevinC posted it is used to pop the switch covers prior to removing the dash panel and subsequent switches. It has an angle built into it so it really only works one way.

The tool that Kevin C. has in this post is the only tool needed to remove the covers and switch. The wide progs are for the cover and the flat side is for pushing the butterfly wings in to remove the switch.
