I researched many threads regarding this but did not find my answer, so I will post my question. I want to replace all my switch actuators (the covers). I see several sources online that sell them and all offer may varieties. But I'm not certain they will snap on my existing switches. Does anyone know if the post that are on the back of the switches are different sizes and therefore only for certain switches? I see there are Contura II and III's, but I don't know the differences. I want to avoid buying them online only to find they won't snap onto my existing switches.
Thanks

I think they all fit switches made by Carling (as for Blue Seas, etc.). I've never had one NOT fit. I think the differences between Contura II and III or whatever are all outside cosmetics.

You could try one actuator, just to confirm, then order the rest after that.

There's a cheap-y tool to pop old actuators off; you DO want that.

Those are Contura III. But the switch bodies are the same for the Contura series. Talk to the folks at Flounder Pounder. They have complete switch actuator kits. If not listed on their website they will make it up for you. I got the complete kit for my 400DA and didn't regret it both for improvement and value.
