Carb rebuild

I had some work done and he mentioned I may have to get the carb rebuilt but would try tuning it first which they did. Currently the port engine when warming up will drop RPM's and then die a few times. Once the engine is warmed up everything is fine but was wondering if the carb can cause that issue?

Yes, I know nothing about engines :huh: will return my man card at some point still clinging on to it.
